Tom Holland has disclosed his worst job to date, and it’s astounding! Holland, who is most recognized for his portrayal as Spider-Man in the Marvel films, had a less illustrious origin. For those who don’t know, the actor began acting when he was eleven years old. He had his first paid role in Billy Elliot the Musical and has a dance and ballet background. The actor from Spider-Man: No Way Home revealed that he was bullied as a result of his interest in the latter. According to KoiMoi.

Though the actor is now well-known throughout the world and has performed with A-listers such as Robert Downey Jr., Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and others, there was a time when he had a job he disliked.

Tom Holland addressed several personal questions in a 2017 interview with Yahoo!, such as what was the worst job he’d ever had. It was at this point that the actor disclosed that he had previously worked as a pot washer. “The worst job I ever had was a pot washer in a pub,” he said. Later the interviewer asked him if it was terrible, to which Tom replied, “It wasn’t terrible, it’s just I was so used to being on film sets that all of the sudden I was like, ‘this sucks!’”

Tom Holland also mentioned that Jake Gyllenhaal was one of the actors he was wanting to work with, and Martin Scorsese was one of the directors he wanted to work with. Finally, Holland was asked about his ideal role, to which he responded emphatically, “James Bond.” This is the only time Holland has indicated an interest in playing 007 onscreen.

“Ultimately, as a young British kid who loves cinema, I’d love to be James Bond,” Tom stated on the Variety Award Circuit podcast. “So, just to be clear, I’m putting that out there. I mean, in a suit, I look quite decent! “I’d be like a miniature James Bond.”

Even if Tom Holland does not succeed in replacing Daniel Craig as the next Bond, his work as Marvel’s Spider-Man has earned him a large fan base. On December 17, 2021, his third and last standalone picture as the Spider-Man superhero is set to enter theatres.
