Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth claims that after eight movies and more than ten years, Thor has changed from being an “obvious” comic book superhero to a character who reflects many of his personality qualities. Since his role as the Marvel superhero in 2011’s “Thor,” the Australian actor has played the character in “The Avengers,” “Thor: The Dark World,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Thor: Ragnarok,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” and “Avengers: Endgame.”

The 38-year-old actor thinks that when the first several movies were being made, the “rules and procedures” were heavily relied upon, but things changed when director Taika Waititi was hired to make “Ragnarok.” “There is undoubtedly a familiarity, yet just like myself, he has undergone a significant transformation. As the character’s development and my thoughts sort of melted together and crossed paths, that’s what has been kind of exciting. “At a worldwide press conference for “Thor: Love and Thunder,” the actor stated.

Hemsworth said Waititi brought out the “immature, young teenager” nature in character, which is comparable to what he is in real life, as the actor reprises his role as the God of Thunder in the upcoming standalone movie. “Taika’s involvement allowed him to bring out the juvenile, young adolescent character that Thor and I now exhibit, something he didn’t in the original films. It was intriguing and novel. Fun was the main goal. It was enjoyable to see him (Thor) embody this area as a child, taking pleasure in and getting sucked into the wonder and curiosity… I believe that with time, the character has probably become more like me, hopefully in a humorous way,” he explained.

Waititi, who is frequently credited with reviving the “Thor” franchise by giving the character humor and irreverence, admitted that it was difficult for him to draw comparisons between Thor and Hemsworth. “Finding a way to make Chris relatable is quite difficult when you first meet someone. And that was the main obstacle. I’d want to go on an adventure with someone who has his personality, energy, and self-identity. He is someone you can rely on and who will watch out for you like a true hero. In order to sort of making Thor more Chris, I basically wanted to draw on those attributes,” the writer-director explained.

To stop Gorr the God Butcher from eradicating all gods, the Asgardian God must go back to work and enlist the help of Valkyrie, Korg, and Jane Foster, who has transformed into the Mighty Thor. Tessa Thompson, who previously played the Valkyrie, and Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman are both reprising their roles as Jane. With this production, the critically acclaimed actor Christian Bale will debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the villain Gorr.

“It was a pleasure for Bale to play the villain because Waititi was able to dig into the character’s depth without losing the humor, according to Bale, who has made a career out of playing complex characters.” Playing a villain is a great deal of fun. Playing a villain is simpler than a hero. Chris worked harder. Everyone is immediately captivated by terrible men, and the beauty of it is that Taika can make it both bloody hilarious and incredibly poignant in this story, he continued. Gorr may be the antagonist, but Hemsworth praised Bale for portraying it with “amazing” vulnerability. The actor stated, “There is a vulnerability, an empathic element, and you find yourself thinking that what he is doing is wrong, but I know the motivation behind it.”
