Ranbir Kapoor is one of the finest and most admired actors and performing artistes that we have in the Indian entertainment industry. Ever since the time he made his debut in the year 2007, things have been quite literally prolific for him at a professional level. After a spree of successful movies in the past, Ranbir outperformed his own abilities in the movie ‘Sanju’ and ever since then, there was no looking back. Post Sanju in 2018, the Covid-19 pandemic didn’t help anyone and that’s why, his next release happened directly in 2022 with ‘Shamshera’. Although the movie had high expectations, it became a failure at the box office. So far, Ranbir had maintained a dignified silence on the same. Well finally, he has shared his opinion at the Red Sea Festival in Jeddah. He was quoted as saying,

“It was a big box office disaster, but the biggest mistake I made on Shamshera was that I stuck on a beard. When you’re shooting in the heat, and you stick on a beard, it’s like your face is melting. If the film didn’t run at the box office, it’s only because the audience didn’t like the film. Eventually, it’s about the content. If you make a good film, entertain people, of course they will go to the cinema and watch your films. They want to feel that different emotion, connect with characters and get entertained. So, if a film doesn’t work, it is not for any other reason but because the content is not good. That’s what I feel is the true answer.”
