We all have our favorite Bollywood stars, some of whom we admire solely because of their appearance. While the newest celebs manage to attract attention with their lean, grungy looks and trendy diets, Salman Khan has always been a source of inspiration for fitness aficionados!

We believe his devotion to fitness has helped him delay the onset of the age blues, despite his advanced age. If you ask us, he is a great inspiration for anyone who needs a little motivation to make fitness a priority in their lives.

Salman Khan has also aided a number of younger stars in the industry, including Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, in getting in shape. Not to forget, he is also a sports enthusiast. That is why we believe he can inspire you to get in shape as well!

“The body is built outside of the gym, not in it. You may spend a lot of time in the gym, but it’s your dedication and a strong mentality that will help you achieve your goals.” Isn’t it enough to get your constructive juices flowing?

Discipline

Salman Khan manages to fit in at least an hour or two of gym time every day, often working out beyond midnight, despite his hectic schedule. Salman Khan’s fitness program consists of a variety of activities such as bench presses, weight training, treadmill, sit-ups and push-ups, circuit training, and planks on a regular basis. Every week, he takes a day off to rest his body. He also enjoys cycling and can often be seen doing so in the city on his own time. Cycling is a great method to stay in shape and keep your heart healthy. He has the ability to cycle for up to three hours at a time! Exceptionally outstanding!

Holistic Diet

Salman, who is a huge eater at heart, prefers to devour his calories and then work them off. While he enjoys desi khana (and is known for throwing extravagant brunches), he is conscious of his nutrition and health. He has also made major reductions in sugary and processed foods since beginning his workout. In truth, he avoids protein supplements and steroids, and he recommends his supporters to do the same:

“There is a current trend of using steroids, but it is a really bad one. No one, in my opinion, should use these. In fact, many people abuse steroids, which is extremely harmful to their body because it can cause liver and kidney damage.”

Fitness Inspiration

Here’s a quote to live by that is both inspiring and accurate:

“You should work out whenever you have the opportunity. After lunch, after supper, in the morning, or in between shots, I have free time. I exercise one body part whenever I have free time. I work out my stomach, chest, and legs when I don’t have time to go to the gym for an hour or two. I start doing workouts whenever I find a small space. I believe you need gym equipment to exercise, but if you don’t have access to one, you can choose conventional types of exercise.”
