Internet users argued over who will play as a special guest at the next IU performance at Jamsil Olympic Stadium: BTS’s SUGA or Jay Park. While some online users believed this to be imaginable, others believed that Jay Park would most likely replace SUGA as the guest performer at the upcoming IU performance. However, Jay Park agreed to play as a guest artist at IU’s next performance if she requested it in a guest appearance on her YouTube show “IU’s Palette” after their collaboration on the song “GANADARA.”

This is because Jay Park could not accept IU’s request for him to play as a guest artist in one of IU’s previous concerts because he was not present in South Korea then. In a post titled “What if SUGA appears as a guest at IU’s concert?,” published on a community forum on July 28, the netizen stated, “Even G-Dragon has guest performed for IU previously, so it is likely that SUGA may appear as well.” The first female Korean performer to ever do a concert in the Jamsil Olympic Stadium will be IU; it was recently confirmed.
