Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a Pakistani playback singer and musician who comes from a lineage of Sufi singers and Qawwali. He is the grandson of Qawwali singer Fateh Ali Khan. He is the famous Sufi singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab’s nephew. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab is still well-known for his Qawwali and Islamic devotional songs. From the age of just seven, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan began studying Qawwali with his uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Many of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s greatest songs have become worldwide hits and are still cherished by music fans. At the age of nine, he gave his first public performance. He was blessed with a deep voice and excellent vocals. His debut song is Mann ki Lagan from the Bollywood film Paap.

“Tere Mast Mast Do Nain” is a song from the Dabangg movie. Rahat received accolades for this song from the IIFA Awards for Best Male Vocalist, the Mirchi Music Awards for Best Male Vocalist, and the Big Star Entertainment Awards for Best Singer (2010). (2011)
