The ‘Xanny’ singer also expressed her “pain” when someone sends or says something hurtful to her. Billie has now enlisted the help of singer Madonna to defend her from trolls, particularly in light of how se*ist detractors have ganged up on her. Billie has also been lauded by the singer for accepting her s*xuality. Billie Elish opened up in an Elle interview shortly after.
Madonna did the same, speaking about sexism in the music industry and how female artists are condemned as a result of it. “The problem is, we still live in a very s*xist culture where women are classified into groups,” Madonna explained.
“No one would be writing about this if Billie was a man.
