The Indian contingent has so far been doing a great job at the Commonwealth Games 2022. Most of the medals have so far come in weightlifting and we couldn’t be more proud of our sports personalities. And now, we have added another milestone in our list of medals ladies and gentlemen.
India’s Harjinder Kaur won the bronze medal in women’s 71kg weightlifting after a rather dramatic climax. She made a total lift of 212 kg. The snatch was 93kg and the clean and jerk was 119 kg. This ensures that team India win their 7th medal in this particular brand of sport.
