Pooja Banerjee the talented young actress is certainly making her father proud with her acting prowess!! Pooja who presently is seen playing the role of Rhea in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya has never celebrated Father’s Day, but has always made it a point to keep her father happy!!
Says Pooja, “I have never celebrated the day. In fact, I never knew till my 11th standard that such a day actually exists. So I have no plans for Father’s Day. Of course, I have fond memories of my dad.”
“My father was the first person to take me to Mumbai. He always knew that I wanted to visit Esselworld, Gateway of India, Elephanta Caves etc. He loved taking pictures; he had a camera of his own. He always knew that I love swimming. He took me to the beaches. Those were the beautiful days when I really enjoyed myself with my dad. I was definitely my dad’s father,” she quips with pride.
Ask her about the best thing that she liked about her father and Pooja states, “The best thing about him was that even if he did not like any of the assignment, project or life decision that I took, he never said no to it. He has never scolded me for doing anything wrong. I have never seen my father angry.”
Talking about her father’s happiest moment, Pooja recollects, “When I got my first car, he was the happiest. He really enjoyed it whenever I used to get food for him. Whenever I gave him the food I cooked, he would start dancing, clapping and would enjoy it.”
“As of now, what I can give him is my attention, my love, my time, as he has been ailing for a very long time. He has been diagnosed with Dementia and all I want is that he has to get well very soon.”
