Young and talented actress Yukti Kapoor, who rose to fame with &TV’s Agnifera, is currently entertaining audiences as Karishma Singh in the Sony Sab show Maddam Sir. Yukti is elated as her show recently completed 500 episodes. Talking about the same, she said, “It’s a surreal feeling to achieve this milestone. It has been a roller coaster ride. We have been through ups and downs but the moral of the story is that we survived. People are loving our show. There is purity in the show which touches children’s hearts. And because of the kids, the parents and grandparents are watching our show. This is how we are becoming famous with each passing day. There are fans coming on the sets and showering their love. This is an overwhelming feeling.”

When asked what she has explored via the role, she added, “The show has offered us a scope to explore multiple nuances as an actor. I never thought I could essay the role of a tomboy. I just want to thank the makers, directors, and writers for believing in me. I consider myself fortunate to have such a wonderful cast and crew who have always stood by me.”

On an endnote, Yukti revealed how she started taking care of her health after working on the show. “I perform a lot of action sequences in the show and for that, I have to be very strong. Hence I have started taking care of my health a lot because of this show. While playing the role of a cop, I have learned one thing: we are safely sitting at home because they are working hard. I just want to say hats off to them,” ended the actress.
