I miss not having the regular college life like others – Tinaa Dattaa

Tinaa Dattaa is one of the prettiest and most talented actresses of the Indian TV industry. The Bengali bombshell started her career at the age of just 18 with her hit TV show Uttaran and ever since then, it has been a climb up the ladder for Tinaa. IWMBuzz got involved in a brief conversation with Tinaa on her career, life, and a lot more. Read to find out –

Tinaa, after seeing success for so many years in the industry, does anything feel different?

Well to be honest, nothing feels different that way. I am still the same person and for a girl like who has come from outside without any Godfather, I only have a sense of gratitude for everything that I have got till now. I am quite the same

You started your career in acting very early just after school. Do you regret missing your college life?

See, the kind of person I am, I don’t really regret anything. Everything that happens happens for a reason and if you need to achieve something, you must be open for sacrifices. I don’t regret really but yes somewhere down my heart, I do miss the fact that I didn’t have a regular college life. But I am glad about what I am doing as this is what I always wanted to do.

What would you like to say about the fact that Indian TV is so popular in other countries and continents like Europe?

Yes, they are, and it’s truly amazing. I think a lot has to do with the fact that Indian serials are a lot about emotion, family sacrifices, and values of life. Probably the kind of content there is different and they miss these values there. Hence I feel, Indian TV is so popular outside India as well.

Last but not the least, a message for all the fans and admirers?

Stay safe, take care, and be strong. Take care of yourselves and keep showing the love that you have always shown. An artiste is nothing without the love of her audience and so I am eternally grateful for loving and accepting me.
