Sanjay Gagnani, who has been missing from Zee TV drama Kundali Bhagya for a while, is batting for his dear friend Mahira Sharma in Bigg Boss 13. “I am following the entire season very closely.”

“She is among the strongest contenders from the original list of inmates and will surely go the whole hog.”

“I say they are the real players, for the later wild card entries (Arhaan Khan, Vishal Aditya Singh etc.) have entered after seeing the game. But if the original inmates, who have no clue about what is being shown outside, have lasted so long, it means that they are being loved by the audiences.”

“The best part is that Mahira is not faking it. She is the same even with me, losing her temper over small things, having minor ego issues, and yes, does not like it when anyone gets too close to her physically.”

When asked about her growing equation with Paras Chhabra, he says, “Even if something does brew between them, it is but natural, as he has been her closest friend inside. It is not easy to last inside without moral support.”

“Having said that, Bigg Boss is never predictable, with best friends turning foes and vice versa. Did Paras not bury the hatchet with one-time bete noire Sidharth Shukla?”

A while back, Sanjay had said that Mahira’s proximity to Paras might cost her. “I was just concerned about her as a friend, but now she is coming into her own. And yes, Paras did stand by her when her chips were down.”

“Ironically, although for now Shehnaaz Gill and Mahira are very close, I think she is her biggest challenger.”

When asked about his character’s absence from Kundali, he says, “Since Prithvi is the main negative character in the show, the creative are giving the audience some breathing space. Prithvi will be back very soon. He will not stop till he gets both, Preeta (Shraddha Arya) and the Luthra wealth.”

“The best thing about him is that he is not a normal villain who screams and gives weird facial expression. Rather, he sweet talks you to hell. If he is ever awarded capital punishment, he will pull the wool over the judge’s eyes and walk home.”
