Devika Singh is happy and excited about her TV debut with the huge show of Balaji Telefilms on Colors, Bepanah Pyaarr.
Says Devika, “It is a great feeling to be part of the Balaji Telefilms family. I am glad that I have got this opportunity in my first show on TV.”
Talking on her character and the plot, she states, “As you would be aware, I play the role of Sukanya who comes from UK, after knowing of Raghbir (Pearl V Puri) getting married. She has been in a love affair with him, and has come down only to wish him luck for his future. Sukanya has not come to claim her love or anything like that.”
“The story will move around two to three phases of Raghbir and there will be quite a lot of intrigue over Raghbir still lamenting the death of his wife, while there is one more girl all set to marry him, and there is Sukanya too who has come into the picture,” she avers.
“Sukanya is surely upset, but does not want to claim him and stop the marriage. According to her, if Raghbir has decided to move on, she is fine with the decision,” Devika states.
“Sukanya is a strong, independent, intelligent, classy female. But at the same time, she is emotional as well. She loves Raghbir, but is not angry at him for whatever is happening now. So her intentions are not bad at all,” she adds.
“Working with Balaji and Ekta M’aam has been one of the best experiences of my life. I was little skeptical when I bagged the role. But I am happy and excited now. This is my first show and I am super thrilled. Let us see how the story pans out,” says Devika.
