The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kavya warning Rakhi to not insult her husband. Rakhi says the jobless husband’s jobless wife is talking. She says everyone in this house is jobless. Baa says Vanraj runs a cafe. Kavya challenges Rakhi that she will get a high profile job soon. Rakhi insults her saying she is too busy grooming her eyebrows so should open a parlour to do the eyebrows of other ladies. Baa tells Kavya and Vanraj to not fight on festival day. Kavya says Rakhi is the one who is fighting. Bapuji tells Rakhi to stop fighting. Rakhi responds that phatichars are not fit to fight with her. Sanjay tells her that he won’t take his in-law’s insults anymore. Rakhi asks him if he wants her to personally insult him. Dolly takes a stand for her husband and warns Rakhi to not insult him. Rakhi mimics her.
Vanraj tells Rakhi to shut up. He says he was tolerating her only because it’s Raksha Bandhan but now can’t tolerate her anymore. Vanraj tells Rakhi to get out of his house. Rakhi asks his house. Vanraj says it belongs to him, Dolly and Anupamaa. Rakhi says it belongs to her as well. Vanraj asks if she has lost her mind. Anupamaa comes to Rakhi and requests her to not say anything. Rakhi tells Anupamaa to explain to everyone that this is her house as well. Vanraj asks Anupamaa what is this mannerless Rakhi saying. Rakhi says that Anupamaa has taken money from her to pay for income tax and in return has mortgaged her share of the house.
Everyone in the house is left shocked. Rakhi says Anupamaa visited her house begging for money. That’s when they made a deal. Vanraj tells Anupamaa she was fooled by the bank fraud and now she has been fooled by a bigger fraudster. Kavya insults Anupamaa, Baa says that Anupamaa has destroyed their dignity. Bapuji tells them to leave his daughter alone. Kinjal tells Rakhi what she did was wrong. Rakhi tells her to not forget that she is also living in her house. Vanraj says that Anupamaa insulted Bapuji by selling his blessing. Bapuji says she took permission from him by calling him before making the deal.
Vanraj says she could have done something else. Bapuji asks why didn’t they do something else. If Anupamaa would not have done it then the factory would be closed and even his cafe.
Vanraj asks Rakhi to give back the property papers and take her money back. Rakhi asks for his and Dolly’s share in the house as well. Rakhi removes Anupamaa’s nameplate and puts her nameplate instead. Vanraj tells Anupamaa that she returned the pain he caused her in the last 25 years in a day that too with interest. He says he will never forget his insults. Vanraj says he can’t stay in the house where Rakhi is going to visit. Anupamaa tells him to stop but he goes to his room.
