In today’s Imlie episode, an employee by the name of Swapnil enters Malini’s office cabin. He claims to have wonderful news about an urbanite trapped in a village because of a terrible custom. Malini claims she is not interested in learning what some of the village’s uneducated residents do. If Swapnil doesn’t have any city-related ideas in addition to these dull ones, she will fire him and it won’t be published. After apologising to her, he prepares to leave the lodge when he receives a call. He claims that the Pagdandiya news won’t be printed in their newspaper. When Malini recognises the village, she requests that he appropriately deliver the news. She claims that as soon as it is published, she would ruin Pagdandiya’s reputation, causing her to be estranged from both her father and her husband. Imlie swears to eradicate everything evil from Pagdandi to advance it.
Then in Imlie, Cheeni claims Imlie is so brave and powerful that she effortlessly defeats the goons while they are eating. Cheeni has been brave since she was a baby, Imlie responds. As they didn’t make it home last night, Meethi pulls Cheeni and Imlie’s ears, causing Cheeni to become delighted. Cheeni describes what transpired and how Imlie rescued Binni from an arranged union with a city man. Imlie has received criticism from several people who question why she is caring for a nameless child and why she teaches but does not provide an explanation for Cheeni. Cheeni dismisses the villagers by calling attention to their errors and claiming that Imlie is her father, mother, and best friend. She values her above anything else. They go away. Imlie, Meethi, and Cheeni have fun together.
Later in Imlie, Malini reads the fake news about Pagdandi in the newspaper, which claimed that they were disobeying the law and ensnaring city men to marry them off to their uneducated females. Marriage is being mocked, and this practice ought to end. According to Malini, it will damage Pagdandiya’s reputation. Swapnil appears and informs them that they were mistaken initially and that the city man was to blame; as a result, they should prevent the press from disseminating false information. Malini predicts it won’t occur. They will have to accept the loss, according to Swapnil, and Malini can only ask for Aryan’s approval once. His absence from office, according to Malini, lasted five years. She won’t accept his consent. She says she’ll fire Swapnil as well. Aryan has hallucinations of Imlie, who asks him why he can’t talk to her if he misses her.
Standing up, Aryan declares that he does not want her in his life in Ilmie’s episode. When he smashes a picture frame, Arpita Narmada appears in his room. He is urged to stop torturing himself by them. He is merely staging a drama for his feelings, claims Arpita. They are asked to leave Aryan alone. Narmada advises him to talk to Imlie because he is alone without her, or at the very least, to question Meethi about her. Aryan welcomes Malini and inquires as to her purpose for visiting. Malini claims she is not interested in coming here, but she was compelled to come because he never goes to work. She shows him the bogus Pagdandi news and claims it supports the same pernicious tradition that destroyed her life. Now, Aryan can prevent the news from being published if she has any issues with it. Aryan claims he has no objections because it is not improper.
Lastly in Imlie’s episode, Cheeni is prepared for class by Imlie, who advises her to concentrate on her exams. What will happen to Cheeni’s reporting then, she asks? Cheeni is not the only cinematographer for her, according to Imlie. She warns Cheeni not to bring her phone because it is prohibited in schools. Imlie is shocked when he learns from the people that a news organisation released false information about Pagdandi. Imlie seeks information from her local news editor. Arpita asks Aryan if he is concerned for Imlie and the hamlet when he reads the news. He responds that he won’t back a social vice. What does he want, then, Arpita asks? He claims he has no feelings right now. The editor informs Imlie that a major news organisation published the news about their community. Imlie discovers Cheeni carried the phone in her tiffin box covertly. She claims that she urgently needs the recording. The news of Pagdandi will now be seen throughout the nation.
