Today’s episode of 16 September 2019 Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts as we see Naira starts crying as Kartik hugs her, they discuss their trust issues with each other and also discuss that trust was the main reason for them splitting up. Kartik agrees on trusting her. They both decide to find the reality behind why Akhilesh was lying about what happened and also make a decision to find a solution for this mess.
Dadi tells Akhilesh of wanting to talk to him but be avoids it and goes to his room. Here thanks Kartik for being with her in this. She even tells him to talk to Vedika about this so that she doesn’t feel bad as they will have to go out of the house a few more times. Kartik goes to talk to Vedika, who tells him about seeing him and Naira in the café. He tells her that the matter is sensitive and cannot be discussed in the house. Next morning, Naira goes to meet Liza. Even Kartik goes to the Singhania house.
Dadi decides to bring Ganpati idol in the house for Kairav. Here, Liza is about to give up her relationship and go back to Goa. Naira tries to make her understand and consoles her to not give up and keep hope as she will helping her to find a solution to solve this problem.
Kartik’s car breaks down due to lack of petrol he starts walking to go meet Naira and Liza. Naira while returning sees Kartik and stops her car. He gets inside and asked about what happened. She tells him about what happened. Kartik breaks down holding Naira’s hands and feels bad for Surekha and her kids as they will be really hurt on knowing about what Akhilesh had done.
Later, we see Akhilesh feeling guilty about not recognizing Liza and starts blaming himself for behaving in such a way with Liza. Kartik comes and blames him for the same.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Vedika comes to make tea for Niara. Niara asks her to not take the ginger on which Vedika gets angry with her and tells her to not teach her hot to make tea for her husband.
