Today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 31 May episode starts with Kartik remembering Manish’s words. He intentially asks Manish about the deal and tells him to share its details with him. Manish responds by saying that the whole responsibility of the project is handed to Naira and Mihir. Kartik gets furious at him for taking the decision with telling about him first. Manish tells him Naira was forced by him to undertake the project. Kartik tells him that he doesn’t trust Manish’s capabilities.
Mihir visits the Goenka house and Kartik acts strange towards him. Naira is trying to make Kartik understand that the reason Manish did not give him the project responsibility was because of his poor health. But Kartik does not listen to her. He argues that he can handle work even with his poor condition. He gets mad at her for not supporting him.
Kartik comes to work and joins Mihir, Naira, Manish and others. Kartik puts forward some suggestions and Mihir tells him that he will think about it.
Meanwhile, Naira takes an appointment with the doctor because of her deteriorating health. However, she chooses to not tell Kartik about it. While going out, Naira forgets her laptop at the house itself. Kartik sees it and decides to follow her to give her the laptop. While doing so, he sees Naira heading towards a different way and he gets suspicious. Kartik gets hurt on realizing Naira lied to him.
At the doctor’s, the doctor tells Naira that she might be pregnant.
