The episode begins with Kartik and Sirat sharing a sweet romantic moment. Mithi mithi chaasni plays in the background… When she goes to make tea she sees Vansh and Kairav. They seem upset. They talk about Dadi and Suwarna getting Gayu married and if Vansh will get a nice dad. Sirat tells them that it’s something everyone wants. Sirat consoles Vansh that he won’t be like his old dad. Kairav aks Sirat if she or Gayu met him.
Sirat and Gayu are going somewhere and Gayu asks Sirat where. Sirat tells her that they are meeting Saurabh and his family. Gayu stops the car and tells Sirat that she needs more time. Sirat agrees but Dadi calls them. She reassures Gayu that she wants her to meet Saurabh without any pressure and if she doesn’t like him she has Sirat and Kartik on her side. Kartik is on his way out when he talks to Gayu about moving on and that he always wants her to be happy first.
When Sirat and Gayu enter Manish gets angry and so do Dadi and Surekha. Gayu says she knew this would happen and she leaves. Sirat tries to make them see it from Gayu’s point of view. Suwarna tells her that her intentions are good but her ways are wrong. Surekha tells her she can’t be Naira. All of them tell Sirat she can’t be Naira and nag her. Sirat cries. The next morning she tells Dadi and Suwarna that she will get Gayu ready and they tell her they can’t trust her. When Sirat goes to call her she gets a letter. Gayu had told Kairav to give the letter to Dadi when there is no one around. Kartik is on his way when he gets a call from Sirat. She tells him about Gayu. Dadi sends Suwarna to get Gayu.
Kairav gives the letter to Suwarna telling her Sirat sent it. Suwarna is shocked after reading it. Suwarna tells everyone that Gayu left and took the kids. Everyone is shocked. Kartik and Sirat worry. Manish blames Sirat. Sirat sees Gayu in a taxi and runs after it. The driver sees Sirat and takes a wrong turn. Gayu notices the route.
