Jim Sarbh, one of the colossal names in the B-town as of now. He is one of the finest actors in contemporary times, he is known for his versatile exhibitions and complex characterization is some of the well-known films. He is the truest example of “talent shines”. He was a mere theatre actor when he began his acting career, but today, he is probably one of the biggest names in the B-town, who has worked with other significant actors of Bollywood like Ranveer Singh. And today, we at IWMBuzz are here with an exclusive interview of him with bollywoodlife.com, where he talks about his theatre journey.

In an interview with bollywoodlife.com, he talked about his life journey and about himself. He said, “I can be a workaholic, but I can’t be just one thing. It depends on the situation. There are situations that make me deadly serious. In some situations, I can be laid back and relaxed while doing more of my actual stuff. In other situations, I find it very tricky because you can’t have a different opinion without it seeming like an argument. So, I just find myself becoming a bit quieter, a bit more serious, a bit more withdrawn because I don’t really feel comfortable being able to really say what’s on my mind or what I feel, because I feel it will be met with, you know, ‘oh he’s being difficult’. But no, these are my thoughts, these are my opinions, and I am sorry, I disagree with you. And I wish we encourage discussions and debate on subjects instead of silence and lies. Because I feel a lot of people present themselves as a little manicured version of themselves in public for a variety of reasons. One that they want to promote their image which has become the norm. And the other is like differing opinions are just shot down so fast and attacked so quickly and are met with so much hatred, then it’s very difficult to feel consoled.”

He added when asked about his Bollywood journey, “My experience in Bollywood has been lovely. I only joined in 2016 and since then I have got to do various projects and characters. I have enjoyed my journey. I feel like all you can really do as an outsider, to be head down with your work and work speaks for itself. I don’t really like this idea of public persona, promotions and PR, all these stuff I just don’t understand that. Even today that I am doing interviews, they have told me these exact words, ‘How will your career advance if you don’t talk about personal life and tell funny anecdotes about stars in interviews?’ And I was like, that’s not where I would like to fit in myself into. So, for me, its fine. I keep getting more bigger, better and diverse roles. And I hope it keeps getting them. I hope to act in web series, and theatres, films and international films, I hope I just keep digging my teeth into like really fascinating people.”
