Most young mothers can connect to the challenges of postpartum and the first year of motherhood. While being a mother and welcoming a baby into your home opens up new opportunities and enhances your life, the changes take time to adjust to. The pressure to be prim and proper can generate a lot of stress for some people, and mothers bear the brunt of it.

Meghan Markle, the mother of Archie, is all too familiar with the challenge. Meghan has not gotten the same love and attention as her baby boy, despite the fact that the rest of the world is adoring him. Aside from the trolls and abuse, she has had to deal with a lot of pressure along the way, which has been difficult.

Meghan Markle has spoken up on the challenges of being a new mom, particularly in the public glare, in a new documentary, saying that it’s all been a little too much. Meghan’s selections were scrutinized and criticized throughout her pregnancy and after she gave birth. Meghan has now spoken up about the same, claiming that there was a lot of strain on her and that it was a little negative.

“Any woman, especially when they’re pregnant, you’re really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging. And then when you have a newborn, you know. And especially as a woman, it’s a lot,” she said. “So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed. It’s um…yeah. I guess, also thank you for asking because not many people have asked if I’m okay, but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”

Meghan said, “I’m not doing okay,” when the anchor asked if she was doing okay. As she speaks, she can be seen fighting back tears.

“Thank you for your inquiry. Few people have inquired whether I’m okay, but what I’m going through behind the scenes is extremely real.” Following the airing of the documentary, many women, particularly mothers, expressed their sympathy for her on the internet.
