Deepika Padukone has simply been slaying with her movie choices for many years now. Her best phase truly and ideally started with now husband Ranveer Singh with Ramleela, and since then the couple has never looked back.
Deepika is often regarded as the ideal and go to choice for filmmakers when it comes to period dramas as her body of work in period films is something to look upto. The likes of Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat are classic examples.
It is certainly because of this reason that Deepika is all set to embrace the role of Draupadi in her upcoming period film titled ‘Mahabharata’ that’s scheduled for a Diwali 2021 release.
