Noted filmmaker Onir who got critically acclaimed for ‘I Am’ has recently begun work on the sequel to the anthology film titled ‘We Are’. He has very recently started shooting for his next, which is titled ‘Chahiye Thoda Pyaar’. Onir was the one who dealt with sensitive concepts like AIDS, same-sex relationships in mainstream cinema. He is known for films My Brother Nikhil, I Am.
Noted Punjabi actor Jobanpreet Singh who is known for his performance in the Punjabi film Saak, will make his debut in Hindi films with this project of Onir. He has featured in Punjabi films Kikli, Kande, Dil Jo Na Keh Saka, Rupinder Gandhi 2: The Robin Hood, Sarabjit, The Black Prince etc.
As per a reliable source, “Jobanpreet Singh will play the lead in Chahiye Thoda Pyaar.” The shoot for the film has started in Kashmir.
