The Diwali weekend of 2021 seems to have passed us by in a rush. Along with the lovely memories that we’ll cherish, there’s also the amazing celebrity fashion that we’ll be carrying with us as the holiday season approaches. While many celebrities opted for bold designs and vivid colours, fashionistas like Sonam Kapoor had no choice but to stick to the classics. The celebrity pair cut a lovely image for Diwali 2021 with equally stylish entrepreneur husband Anand Ahuja by her side that deserves a space on the wall.
Sonam looked stunning in an ivory Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla salwar kameez with a hairdo and dangling earrings. Anand wore a Rajesh Pratap Singh kurta and pyjama combo with brown brogues and twinned with her. We can never say no to a classic ethnic ensemble, especially when Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja pull it off so beautifully. They appear to have a habit of leaving us speechless with their ethnic looks. On Instagram, Sonam Kapoor uploaded photos from her Diwali celebrations, in which she can be seen posing cheerfully with her husband, Anand Ahuja. For the photos, Sonam and Anand are dressed in colour-coordinated traditional clothes. One of them depicts the couple seated beside each other in a photo, while another shows her sitting in his lap.
Sonam Kapoor wished her fans a happy Diwali by sharing her photos in the same gown. She made a humorous video on the day of the festival, wondering if one could get dressed as simply as it appears on Instagram. “If only getting into the glam industry was as simple as this!” I hope everyone’s Diwali celebrations were full of love, light, and plenty of delicious food!” she wrote.
