Nora Fatehi who is from Canada has fantastically made her ground in the Bollywood industry with her star power and her expertise as a model and actress. However, when she came down from a foreign land to settle in India and make a mark in films, nobody knew her. She had a tough time convincing the people on the job about her caliber as an actress.
Well, Nora recollected one such tough experience which left her weeping and probably thinking of packing her bags and leaving to her homeland.
Well, Nora on a chat show ‘What Women Want’, hosted by Kareena Kapoor Khan made this revelation that once a casting director yelled at her after calling her home. She was called ‘talentless’ which literally broke her confidence.
We quote this from Hindustan Time, Nora said, “There was one casting director that I met in the first few months that I came to India. She almost made me feel like packing my bags and leaving. She said to me, ‘There are too many people like you here. Our industry is sick and tired of people like you. We don’t want you.’ She was screaming at me. She was shouting, ‘You are talentless, we don’t want you.”
