American hip hop musician, rapper, and model Jordan Terrell Carter is better known by his stage name Playboi Carti. Carti struggled a lot in his early years due to his family’s financial situation as a result of his upbringing. Even now, the difficulties of his early existence may be heard in his music and way of living. Sir Cartier served as Carti’s stage moniker when he first began his career. He changed his musical direction in 2012, and virtually all of his earlier online material was removed. Additionally, he changed his stage name to Playboi Carti. He signed with the edgy Atlanta label “Awful Records” before transferring to ASAP Rocky’s “AWGE.” After releasing his mixtape, “Playboi Carti,” in 2017, Carti, who is currently signed to the major record label “Interscope,” an imprint of Interscope Geffen A&M Records, reached its peak at No. 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200.
