J-Hope of BTS will perform at Lollapalooza on July 31 local time (August 1 IST), making him the first South Korean act to headline the main stage at a significant US event. The BTS member’s impending set has been the topic of much anticipation among ARMYs, who are curious as to what the hour-long performance would involve.

The Lab, a creative agency that has previously worked with BTS for “ON” and even for J-collaboration Hope’s with Becky G for “Chicken Noodle Soup,” came to Instagram on July 27 in the midst of this enthusiasm. The reel included the “Chicken Noodle Soup” video, and the caption read, “Absolutely adored being a part of this,” tagging J-Hope and Becky G. The Lab tagged the two artists and released this footage of their narrative as well.

Fans of BTS are speculating that The Lab may be hinting at a possible performance of “Chicken Noodle Soup” by J-Hope and Becky G together at Lollapalooza by doing this. If this actually happens, J-Hope and Becky G from BTS would be performing “Chicken Noodle Soup” live for the first time.

On August 1 at 7:30 am IST, J-set Hope’s will be streamed live through the Reverse APP/PC and Reverse TV APP, according to an official announcement made by Reverse earlier today. The event’s organizers first revealed J-Hope as the headlining act in early June, saying, “We’re happy to announce J-Hope of BTS will headline Lolla 2022 on Sun, July 31! His performance will go down in history as the first South Korean musician to appear on the main stage of a significant American music festival.
