BTS has been an incredible force throughout the world since its debut on June 13, 2013, 8 years ago. Even those who don’t count themselves among the millions in their obedient viewership (a.k.a. ARMY) or listen to K-pop have obviously heard of BTS, thanks to their first all-English language song “Dynamite” topping the Billboard Hot 100 charts, their 2020 Grammys performance with Lil Nas X, and their Saturday Night Live performance in 2019, plus a stellar Carpool Karaoke segment with James Corden.

In honor of the group’s eighth anniversary and the seven members that make up the group—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—we’ve compiled a list of the top BTS songs (along with their music videos) for your listening, viewing, and dancing enjoyment.

1.Dynamite (2020)

This is the group’s first all-English language single, and it debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts with a bang. The throwback song, music video, and dance movements combine disco and pop to deliver a bright and joyous nostalgia at a time when BTS fans may need it most.

2.ON (2020)

The tempo for this fantastic song from their album Map of the Soul: 7 is set by marching band drums. The song was so successful that the trio performed it on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon after it debuted at #4 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart.

3.Boy With Luv ft. Halsey (2019)

This song broke records as the most-viewed 24-hour debut music video in Youtube history when it was released on April 12, 2019, as the lead single for their EP Map of the Soul: Persona. The band’s collaboration with musician Halsey is a happy, vibrant, mood-lifting smash, and the video shows off some of their great dance routines.
