Deepak Lokendrasingh Chahar, the Indian cricketer is a powerful right-hand medium-pace bowler and a lower-order batsman. He made his international debut two years back in the 2018 Twenty20 International (T20I) match against England. Later in the same year, he made his ODI (One Day International) debut against Afghanistan. His performance in the T20 International match against Bangladesh played a huge role in the team’s win. Deepak Chahar is the first Indian male cricketer to take a hat-trick in a T20 International.
Deepak Chahar was born in 1992, in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. His father, Lokendra Singh Chahar is a former Indian Air Force officer. His cousin, Rahul Chahar is also a cricketer. He started his cricket journey at the age of 10. Apart from his international career, he has done wonders in domestic cricket as well. Deepak Chahar has played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as well for the two teams Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rising Pune Giant.
