Ankit Gupta, who impressed fans with his amazing performance as Fateh in the show Udaariyaan, is currently seen as a contestant in Bigg Boss 16 house. Ankit spoke to IWMBuzz.com before entering the house and revealed about his game plans. Along with Ankit, his Udaariyaan co-star Priyanka Chahar Choudhary is also part of this season.
Talking about joining the reality show, he said, “I am very neutral. Neither I am excited nor nervous. I will be going inside the house with an open mind. I don’t have a strategy in my mind and no game plans either. I also don’t have enough clothes so I will probably take 5-10 pairs and enter the house. Having said that, I am very excited to interact with Salman Khan. As it is nice to learn from the best.”
When asked about his take on romantic relationships inside the house, he added, “I am open to romance. But I always feel that love in these situations is very tricky. It is a game show so you don’t know who to trust. When you are stuck for a long time with a person, you tend to develop a soft corner for the person. But what happens after you get out of the show, defines your real relationship. I am going with an open mind. If I like someone, I will be open about it.”
Ankit’s co-star Priyanka is part of Bigg Boss 16 as a contestant. When asked whether it is a benefit for him or a loss? He quipped, “It is a benefit as well as a loss. Benefit because there is someone to support you. And loss is that maybe someone you trust can break your trust in the game. Also maybe someone really knows you so well that it can go against you.”
On an endnote, he shared a message for fans and mentioned, “The amount of love and support you have given me in the show Udaariyaan. I would want fans to shower me with the same during my course in the Bigg Boss house.”
