All is not well with Colors. Just a little while back we had reported that this flagship channel of Viacom Network was pulling the plug on its snake women show, Vish Ya Amrit Sitara. Poor numbers had led to Tantra biting the dust as well.
Now a little birdie has just whispered into our ears that the channel higher ups are not happy with the numbers of Ishq Mein Marjawan, starring Arjun Bijlani and Nia Sharma, as well.
This Beyond Dreams thriller has been underperforming of late, and now if sources are to be believed, they are edging close to an internal red line. No wonder the production house is a worried lot and are fighting for even a very minor rise in numbers.
Many Ishq Mein Marjawan fans were miffed with the creative decision to ease out Aalisha Panwar from the lead cast, though Alisha has a different story to tell. Read here- (IWMBuzz IWMBuzz
Whatever the truth, many Aalisha fans were upset as the story seemed to be moving towards Nia Sharma, who had hopped on board a bit later. Could this anger have contributed to lower ratings? One can’t say for sure.
We don’t have information about the show going off air, but yes, things are not looking good for the moment.
We tried to get in touch with Producer Yash Patnaik and the channel spokesperson, but could not get through to them.
