This episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupama in Vanraj’s café waiting to sign the loan. She sees two colleagues sitting in the café and imagines them to be Kinjal and Dholakia and gets nervous. The bank executive insists that she signs the papers since it will take another 25-30 days for the loan to get approval. She questions him about the loan and signs it. When she reaches home she tells everyone that she signed the documents for the loan. She tells them she would’ve felt better if someone was with her. But Vanraj was busy with buying the cafe’s groceries.
Baa asks about Kinjal. Vanraj tells her about Dholakia misbehaving with Kinjal. Vanraj realizes that he misbehaved since Anu was silent. He gets angry and gets a hockey stick to punish Dholakia but Anu says they should deal with the issue differently. As Anu explains her reasoning Kinjal walks in. Kinjal asks them to let it go as society would only point fingers at her. Nandini says that it is called victim-blaming while Anu explains why the victim should not be blamed.
Kavya enters and says that they shouldn’t react like this and that it happens in every office. She tells everyone to ignore it without fighting. They try to explain to her why it’s no different. Kavya tells them she has worked with Dholakia before and he has never misbehaved. She asks Kinjal if he touched her. Kinjal says no. Kaya tells her that she made it up in her head and that nothing happened.
Anu says that it will happen for sure maybe it won’t be Kinjal but some other girl instead. Anu says they need to teach Dholakia a lesson so that girls can lead their lives without fear. Kavya doesn’t change her mind. She tells them that Kinjal’s career is at stake. Kavya question Anu on how she can help others when she took Vanraj’s verbal abuse for years. Anu agrees with her. She says fights are normal as long as both get a say. It’s a punishment when only one of them speaks. She says that she doesn’t want her daughter to suffer as she did. She tells Kavya that she too suffered silently and she shouldn’t let her daughter go through the same.
They decide to speak to Toshu first. Toshu also says that nothing will happen to Dholakia but Kinjal’s career will be affected. They think of a different way to punish Dholakia. Toshu asks Samar why he is acting like a hero even though Kinjal is his wife. Samar says that Kinjal is also someone’s Bhabhi, bahu, and beti and someone misbehaved with her. They argue till Kinjal yells at them to stop. She tells them that she will decide what to do or not to do.
