Today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 27 May episode starts with Kartik (Mohsin Khan) behaving very strangely in front of Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and telling her that his car broke down so he had to stay back longer than intended. Naira states that he should have come inside the office. Mihir comes there and starts a conversation with Naira. Kartik is asking himself why he fails to understand what about Mihir gives him negative vibes, especially after Mitali’s allegations.
Suvarna questions Suhasini (Swati Chitnis) for having lied about the necklace and she says that she hasn’t accepted Gayu as her daughter-in-law as of yet. Suhasini says Gayu is carrying someone else’s child in her womb and she cannot let her wear her ancestral jewelry.
Suvarna sees someone’s shadow outside Suhasini’s room. She feels that Gayu overheard everything.
Naira praises Mihir and his work ethics on their way back home and says that Goenka business would have earned huge success if Mihir had worked for them. Suvarna learns that Gayu heard everything. Naira and Kartik return home. Suvarna tells everything to Naira and says that Gayu is not in the house. Naira vents out her frustration on Suhasini for cursing Gayu.
Kartik walks up to talk to Naira but she lies to him and sets off to find Gayu, who she finds in the Singhania house and she then tries to console Gayu. Mihir then calls Naira and asks her to meet him in the restaurant. Mitali also calls Kartik and tells him that Mihir and Naira are together, in a restaurant.
