Heartthrob Ishaan A Khanna, who was last seen in Flesh, entertained masses in ALTBalaji and ZEE5’s youth thriller, LSD – Love, Scandal & Doctors. Ishaan played one out of five medical interns named Karthik in the series.
LSD – Love, Scandal & Doctors talks about five medical interns at Delhi’s prestigious KMRC hospital who get stuck in a murder investigation when a patient is killed. All of them look guilty, and all of them appear to have a motive for murder.
Talking about the series, Ishaan says, “The script really attracted me as the entire story was very intriguing. Each character was well researched and that hooked me to the show. Also, nowadays we only see series which focuses on mafia background. However, this was a really great area to explore. I am glad to play Kartik’s character, and the boxing sequence that I shot is great. I am sure fans will love it.”
When asked about the similarities between him and his part, Ishaan shares, “There are few similarities between me and my character. We both have same personality traits, he loves to do what he likes and I am the same in my real life. We both share love and respect for family and friends. Hard work, determination, perseverance, the family are the similar traits that me and my character Kartik have.”
Commenting on the challenges while shooting in the pandemic, he adds, “We all faced challenges working amidst the pandemic. We have given our hundred percent and that is all that we could’ve done in the given scenario. It’s a treat to work with such a hardworking team. Everyone on set was pally with each other and our bond just got stronger, day by day. The overall experience was beautiful.”
