Himani Shivpuri to be a part of Imtiaz Ali’s web series Dr Arora for SonyLIV

Ace Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali is among the most well-renowned names in the Hindi film industry. He has proved his mettle time and again by delivering some of the biggest hits Bollywood has ever witnessed. Now the popular personality is all set to roll out a new web series named Dr Arora for SonyLIV.

Set in the 90s in UP, the series will reportedly tell the love story of a sexologist, with a political backdrop. Kumud Mishra will be seen in the lead role. Imtiaz Ali, along with his brother Arif Ali, has written this show, that will talk about sexuality in an entertaining yet mature way.

We earlier exclusively reported about Saabir Shaikh being part of the project. Now, we hear, the veteran actress Himani Shivpuri, who is currently seen in &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, has bagged the project. She will be seen playing a pivotal role in the series.
