The Youtube generation is most certainly growing stronger year by year. Indian YouTubers have been a part of the entertainment industry for a while now. And they have gained popularity due to their content which has helped them become influencers. Earlier on, Indians had a huge fandom for Bollywood stars and now the definition of stars has gone beyond the silver screen. Now, YouTubers are household names, and even Bollywood producers give them breaks in movies. Today, we bring you a list of popular YouTubers who have made their way to Bollywood.
Ajey Nagar: The star, also known as CarryMinati, is well-known for his roasting videos, and comedy sketches. He made a fleeting cameo in the thriller drama Runway34, which starred Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, and Rakul Preet Singh. In the movie, CarryMinati portrays himself. CarryMinati made his film debut as a lyricist and vocalist in Abhishek Bachchan’s The Big Bull last year.
Anubhav Singh Bassi: The popular stand-up comedian will be making his film debut in the upcoming film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. The film is all set to have a festive release worldwide in cinemas on March 8, 2023.
Nikunj Lotia: The star who is known as Beyounick, also nicknamed Nick is a YouTuber prominently known for short comedy videos with his team members. He is all set to star in a horror comedy movie titled The Virgin Tree. The cast includes actors Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari, and Aasif Khan.
Sapan Verma: One of the co-founders of East India Comedy, who is also an Indian stand-up comedian, appeared as a buddy of the lead actor Farhan Akhtar in the Bollywood romantic comedy Luck by Chance.
Abish Mathew: Indian stand-up comedian, who is well-known for his work with Son Of Abish and All India Bakchod, briefly appeared in the Bollywood drama romance film Meri Pyaari Bindu as one of Ayushmann Khurrana’s flatmates.
Prajakta Koli: The diva, who is better known as Mostlysane on YouTube, made her Bollywood debut in the comedy-drama Jug Jugg Jeeyo, directed by Raj Mehta. In the movie, she portrayed the part of Ginni.
Kanan Gill: The popular comedian, who has earned a decent fan base over the years, thanks to his great timing and sense of humor, made his Bollywood debut in the 2017 movie ‘Noor’ opposite Sonakshi Sinha. He became popular on YouTube, all credits go to his popular show Pretentious Movie Reviews, in which he makes fun of ’90s movies along with Biswa Kalyan Rath.
Rohan Joshi: The young talent, who was a lead part of All India Bakchod, was seen in the Bollywood movie Baar Baar Dekho. He played Sidharth Malhotra’s best buddy in the film and had a significant supporting role.
