Girliyapa joins the ‘Toilet talk’ with “To Pee or not to Pee”

From India’s leading Women Centric channel for entertainment, Girliyapa that celebrates relatable, real, funny & interesting stories about women, comes a hilarious but relevant video “To Pee or not to Pee”, which talks about a girl’s fight against dirty public toilets. What happens next will blow your bladders!

If you’re a woman, chances are you hover to pee on dirty toilets. If you’re a man, you should know about this. Most of the public toilets in our country are dirty to even look at, let alone be used. Men only sit to shit, but this is a problem for women when they have to go 3 or 4 times in a day, just to pee. So what is a girl to do, but hover?

The mockumentary ‘To Pee or not to Pee’ is of a girl, KRANTI who has gone on a strike against dirty toilets at her workplace. But this is no ordinary strike. She has pledged to hover in all situations to increase awareness until her demands are duly met. This act of rebellion doesn’t stay confined to just one girl but spreads in the office and then more women join in.

In the video, we see a young girl in a conference room presenting ideas to a room full of clients, but we see that she is in the hover position. The issue is taken from that office’s dirty toilet to the state of the public toilets in general. From the streets to the media and on to every household. Women who have arthritis and are pregnant participate and bring forth their struggle of hovering. What follows is a circus of events where women and true feminists, in all aspects of their lives, are seen hovering and supporting the cause of the dirty public toilets in their own ways. The media as usual misses the point and makes it about something else that gets revealed.

Speaking about the same, Tracy D’Souza, Channel Head Girliyapa shared, “As women, we go through a lot to avoid Urine infections and other consequences of a filthy toilet. While the issue touches our lives, there is nothing that we can do about it as individuals but take precautions on a daily basis. We often hope that instead of unreal ways of propaganda, we could have a simpler solution that could make our peeing ordeals easier to live with. We see Pee Buddy as not only the best and cheapest but the only solution to this problem throughout the sketch.”
