Jee Karda, the new Amazon Original Series, has garnered widespread acclaim from both viewers and critics since its release, for its relatable storyline and characters. The series revolves around seven childhood friends, each different from one another, and how they establish a sanctuary of security within this close-knit circle of friends. One of the characters in the series is Shahid Ansar, played by Hussain Dalal, who also contributes as one of the writers on the show.

Talking about how he, along with his co-writers, gave birth to these characters, writer-actor Hussain Dalal shares, “I have had the max fun shooting Jee Karda with this team than I had shooting any other show or film. When Arunima (Sharma), Abbas (Dalal), and I first started working on this project, we wanted to write about how people in a friend circle are so different from one another. We (as actors and writers) tried to incorporate our own elements with these characters to ensure everything became an enjoyable experience for the audience while ensuring that we presented 7 diverse perspectives on one situation.”

Jee Karda, directed by Arunima Sharma is a Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Film Production. The story is co-written by Hussain Dalal, Abbas Dalal and Arunima Sharma. The show has an ensemble cast including Tamannaah Bhatia, Aashim Gulati, Suhail Nayyar, Anya Singh, Sayan Banerjee, and Samvedna Suwalka in pivotal roles. Prime members across 240+ countries and territories can stream the series exclusively on Prime Video.
