Members of the Past and Present

TWICE, a nine-member K-pop girl group is known for debuting different hair colors and cosmetics themes with each new album. TWICE has steadily progressed from charming doll-like appearances to more daring, forceful choices that go beyond saccharine aesthetics throughout the years.

Mina acknowledged being enthusiastic about continually attempting different cosmetic looks in an interview with Allure dated April 2020, adding, she is extremely happy that she doesn’t have to stick to just one look. She enjoys experimenting with new hobbies on a regular basis. While space buns and glitter makeup are signatures of TWICE looks, the group’s many ideas have provided its glam crew with plenty of possibilities to explore throughout the years.

We’re looking back at TWICE’s beauty (and fashion) growth from now to their debut in 2015 to commemorate TWICETOBER 2020.

“I Can’t Stop Me,” 2020 “More & More” and “Beyond Live” took place in January 2020.

TWICE kicked in 2020 with a bang in the beauty department. With the exception of Mina, the members went out for the January awards season with pared-down cosmetic styles and hair colors that fans have grown to appreciate. Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Tzuyu, Sana, and Momo all had their hair fashioned in different types of waves, while Chaeyoung flaunted her then-short cut and wispy bangs. With a clean, silver updo and long, platinum hair, Jihyo and Dahyun, respectively, presented blond representation.

The members wore bohemian-inspired ensembles to promote the release of the More & More mini-album in June, in keeping with the era’s “hippie and nature-inspired” idea. Soft pastel eyeshadow and pink cheeks were the focus of the makeup, which was accented with lighter hair colors from members in what may be their most adventurous simultaneous hair moments to yet.

Jeongyeon, Momo, and Mina all had blond hair in various tints, which contrasted nicely with Sana’s vivid orange. Chaeyoung opted for dip-dye turquoise tips and bangs this season, while Dahyun introduced silver-purple waves and Nayeon settled for a natural brown haircut. Tzuyu’s hair was colored a dark reddish-purple for this comeback, while Jihyo’s was pastel pink.
