Since its debut, the movie featuring Tom Cruise as the lead has performed better than any other Paramount production, including Titanic. In terms of popularity, James Cameron’s 1997 movie “Titanic,” which starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in the key roles, has been overtaken by the sequel to 1986’s “Top Gun” “Top Gun: Maverick.” According to a Collider report, this 2022 Tom Cruise movie has surpassed all other Paramount Pictures domestic top earners in the United States and India.

Hundreds of movies, including “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Titanic,” have been distributed by the 110-year-old production company. The former has held onto the top spot in the sky by flying at its highest point. At this point, the movie has outperformed Titanic, which had a total gross of $600.7 million at the domestic box office. The report quoted Brian Robbins, the President and CEO of Paramount Pictures, as saying that, The movie is “a phenomenal motion picture” and that they are taking “deep pride in celebrating this tremendous achievement alongside Tom Cruise, our filmmakers and cast, our marketing and distribution teams, and, of course, all the new and original Top Gun fans, without whom this wouldn’t have been possible.”

Tom Cruise has had great success with Top Gun: Maverick as well. The movie has now become his all-time biggest success. Additionally, it has raked in more than $1 billion at international box offices. The film is doing great and has amazed fans.
