The case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is getting murkier day by day.However, a sigh of relief came for the family and fans when the Supreme Court announced that the CBI will officially take forward the investigation of this case now.
Soon after, a 15 member CBI team landed in Mumbai and now, the investigation is on in full swing.
And guess what’s the latest coming in with respect to Sushant’s case?
As per reports in Republic World, we learn that the CBI is all set to grill Sushant’s ex flatmate, Siddharth Pithani & the late actor’s cook Neeraj over contradictory statements.
Both were earlier taken to Sushant’s home in Bandra for recreation of the crime scene.
While Sushant’s family have maintained that it was Pithani who had allegedly told them that Rhea was harassing Sushant, Pithani was quoted as saying that it was Sushant’s family first who first sought his help. Moreover, while he admitted that Rhea gave medicines to Rhea, he also faltered when it came to admitting the fact that Rhea herself might have gone to the shop to get the medicines.
As far as cook Neeraj and his statement is concerned, he was quoted telling the media,
“I had been working with him for 1.5 years. On the day of the incident, I was at home. We were four people in the house and sir was there. I was cleaning outside the gate. Sir came to me and asked me to give him a glass of cold water. He also asked me if everything was fine, so he smiled at me and went back. This was my last meeting with him on June 14, at around 8-8.15 am in the morning.”
We also learn that Rhea Chakraborty can be quizzed and grilled by the CBI soon as the investigations are now on in full swing.
