A special update coming in for all fans of Tom Cruise.
The actor who was there at the 75th Cannes Film Festival for the screening of his movie ‘Top Gun Maverick’ was without any element of doubt the highlight of the event today. The actor received a standing ovation from the entire crowd at the prestigious event and it made him emotional. As per reports in The Hollywood Reporter, the Tom Gun: Maverick team’s entry included eight fighter jets zooming above the event, expelling smoke in red and blue to match the colours of the French flag.
However, the biggest highlight of the event was when it was announced that the festival was presenting him with a Palme d’Or. He was almost speechless and reacted to it with “wow”. He went on to witness yet another standing ovation post the announcement, which wasn’t a regular affair at all.
