The Fault in Our Stars (2014): I’m sure we’ve all watched this teen romantic drama. You’re lying if you haven’t, and you’re also lying if you didn’t weep throughout it. This cinematic adaption of a John Green novel follows two young cancer sufferers. They go on a once-in-a-lifetime excursion to Amsterdam to meet their beloved author (Willem Dafoe). This film is both relevant and humorous, as well as heartbreaking. We can’t say enough good things about this film, which stars Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley, especially for a teen drama. Seriously, it’s lovely, lyrical, and very sincere. Tune in for a nice weep as well as a good chuckle. Or, better still, go watch it again right now.
