A good script motivates an actor: Jyoti Tiwari

Jyoti Tiwari who has been part of shows like Devanshi, Meri Hanikarak Biwi, Vidya is presently part of the Zee TV show Hamari Wali Good News. The show is produced by Bodhi Tree.

She plays the role of Indu, who is the daughter-in-law of Sumitra (Kiran Sharma). This family stays with Mukund Tiwari (Shakti Anand).

Says Jyoti, “I like to do the roles that come with a lot of variations. I do not like to cry a lot onscreen. I like the intimidating characters that are actually responsible for all the bad acts.”

Talking about her role in the show Hamari Wali Good News, she states, “Indu is a lady who is very scared of her mother-in-law Sumitra. However, in her absence and behind her back, she actually bad mouths her mother-in-law. We who are from the Desai family presently live with Mukund Tiwari. Mukund who calls Sumitra as his ‘jeeji’ respects her a lot.”

Ask her about her forte in acting, she states, “I like comedy. As an artist, I am open to playing any kind of role. When an actor gets a new show, he/ she wishes to do justice to the character. That is exactly what my expectation is. I look forward to the exciting script when I reach my set daily. The good script is like the motivating factor for an actor.”

Jyoti is enjoying sharing screen space with actors like Kiran Sharma, Juhi Parmar, Srishti Jain, Shakti Anand in the show.
