Actor Sourabh Raaj Jain talks about his new show Patiala Babes on Sony Entertainment Television

Patiala Babes is definitely a refreshing change for me: Sourabh Raaj Jain

Talented actor Sourabh Raaj Jain, who enthralled audiences in Remix, Mahabharat and Nach Baliye, has joined the cast of the new-age love story, Patiala Babes, on Sony Entertainment Television.

Talking about the show, Sourabh says, “Patiala Babes is definitely a refreshing change for me, as from the past few years, I have been part of a variety of historical and mythological shows, which are again a costume drama. And Patiala Babes is different of course, which I am quite happy to be a part of now. And I feel lucky that when I was looking for a change, I got this opportunity to be a part of Patiala Babes.”

He further adds, “My character Neil in Patiala Babes is a very good chef. He is also someone with a back story to his life, which will slowly be revealed through the course of the show. And due to this particular back story, he is constantly changing jobs and is also in a bit of a financial crunch. But none of his troubles can get in the way of his love and passion for cooking, as that is something which is very close to his heart. Neil is a very good person at heart but does not wear his emotions on his sleeve. He will also be seen sharing a good bond with Arya in the show.”

Ask how he feels to be back to a youth-based and daily soap after a long time of being associated with mytho shows, he shares, “I feel that it is very important for an actor to take up different roles in different genres, as if we tend to get stuck in the same monotonous cycle of roles. Because as an actor, you tend to get into the skin of various characters, and that is something I always look forward to, and something that is also very important to me. So I am someone who is always looking for something different to do from what I did in my previous show. So yes, I am quite happy to be now moving from the mytho genre to a youth genre after a long time!”

Good luck!!
