While we are all finding it tough to stay away from the stocked up fridge and all the unhealthy snacks during this home quarantine phase, actress Debina Bonnerjee is successfully mananging to stick to her healthy routine and practice of eating in moderation.

The actress who is known to be quite the fitness freak with all the hardcore and amazing workouts she showcases on her social media platforms, is also very particular when it comes to what she eats.

Recently Debina decided to takeover the kitchen to indulge in some cooking, and ended up making a batch of healthy almond ladoos which were an absolute hit at home.

Speaking about why it is important to try and maintain a healthy lifestyle specially during these times, Debina shares,”I have always believed that you are what you eat. If you eat healthy and in moderation with a slight balance of your cravings, your physical and mental health will be in good shape. Striking the right balance between the food you eat and keeping your physical fitness in shape is the key to a good and healthy life. And specially in these uncertain times when you are unsure of the health scenario of the country, eating right and including all the essential foods in your diet is extremely important! Hence I am making the most of my free time at home by trying out healthy recipes with my own twist, and even looking up the internet for ones I want to learn more about. Recently I made some almond laddoos. A recipe of my own which I put together with some mix and match items. Dry roasted almond flower with Chia seeds, flaxseeds and sweetened with dates instead of sugar which I am trying to avoid! Those ladoos turned out to be a solid hit at home, which in turn has inspired me to invent some more healthy recipes like these in the kitchen as well as bring out my inner chef more often.”
