IWMBuzz would like to call out TV actress Reem Shaikh, a new entrant in the domain of performing arts playing an important role in ZEE TV popular show Tujhse Hai Raabta.
Youth can be inexperienced, but Reem seems juvenile. At a time when millions are harrowed with stress of lack of work opportunity, Reem’s action spells gaiety in toying with the fans of the shows and also its makers who foot the bill to ensure the ball is in motion.
Reem is confused on her career decisions and is in a constant state of choice pendulum. To quit or not to quit, is her perennial dilemma.
One time she gives official quote to media stating that she has quit Tujhse Hai Raabta and the very next moment she retracts her comment.
Here is her official comment IWMBuzz received on her exiting the show:
“I have decided to move on because of some personal reasons and also because I want to explore my options. It is been a successful two years with the Tujhse Hai Raabta team and it is with a very heavy heart that I have taken this decision and I hope my fans keep supporting me. I just felt that this is the right time for me to challenge myself as an artist and experiment. I am very passionate about my work and hope good work finds me again. Nonetheless, I have been blessed with the best cast and it was not an easy decision, for sure.”
Now, precisely after two days of the above decision she has sent another official comment stating that she has decided to stay on.

The character of Kalyani is extremely close to my heart and there’s a gripping narrative still waiting to unfold in the show’s upcoming plot. Yes, I recently had a discussion with the show’s makers about certain creative aspects but we have been able to iron out any differences and arrive at a fruitful consensus. I am very happy with the way my character is currently shaping up and can’t wait for my fans’ reactions to the new twists they’re about to see.”
Reem, what would you call these theatrics? A media manipulation tactics to get what you want or a genuine case of indecisiveness? Either ways, the joke is on you.
