Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin the popular Star Plus show produced by Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment has reached the crescendo of emotions and drama wherein the lives of all the four prime characters, Virat (Neil Bhatt), Sai (Ayesha Singh), Patralekha (Aishwarya Sharma) and Samrat (Yogendra Vikram Singh) are hanging by a sword. The complexity in their relationships is what is keeping the audiences on their toes. The show’s Creative Director, Siddhartha Vankar feels that the show is presently in its most interesting phase right now.

We at IWMBuzz.com got our curious thinking caps on and put him to a series of intriguing, yet serious-minded questions pertaining to the future of the prime characters in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

When we asked him to describe the twist in fate that the prime characters of Sai, Virat, Pakhi and Samrat will face in the near future, the Creative Director was clear to say, “This is the best phase, I feel for the show, as the four characters have come together for the story. They are in a very complex relationship, where one loves the other, and the other has a swing with someone else. It is kind of very complex in terms of storytelling. The one important thing is that fate has played a very crucial game in complexity. With the turn of events that have happened, it is very interesting to see how everything unfolds. Sai and Samrat are in a brother-sister zone. Samrat is trying to understand what Sai is. Paralekha is now trying to move on with Samrat. Virat and Sai, on the other hand, have had problems in recent times. So everything is crafted beautifully and let us see what future has in store for us.”

Ask him how crucial this phase is for Sai and Virat, when it comes to finding love, he stated, “This is a very crucial phase surely for Sai and Virat. Sai has openly rejected Virat’s advances, or Virat’s motivation to come and fall in love with her. She has done this thinking that Virat is in love with Pakhi. She has yet not realized that Virat has moved on from his vachan and vaada given to Pakhi, and has fallen for Sai. Virat is also miffed with Sai right now, for her behaviour during the anniversary situation.”

On the kind of battle in the mind that Pakhi is going through now, Vankar quipped, “Yes, the path is more uphill for Pakhi. She wants to move on with Samrat, but the past comes to haunt her all over again. Even when she says that she wants to give her marriage another chance, she cannot see Virat every day in front of her, getting more and more drawn to Sai. Also, there will be the eye of suspicion that Samrat will hold on to her, even when she genuinely tries to move on. So, it is a tough battle in the mind.”

We asked him if Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is following the plot of Kusum Dola, the original show and he stated, “We do follow Kusum Dola to some extent. Having said that, our characters are quite different from Kusum Dola. The trajectory of the story also differs as there are minor changes in characters. Yes, it is an adaptation to some extent, but we follow the overall graph.”

On his personal take on having creative satisfaction, working on this big phase in the show, Vankar explains, “This is a hugely satisfying phase in the story. I have all my dynamics, the character conflicts are out in the open in the story. All the four primary characters have come in front of each other now. We were all waiting for this phase to come. I have said earlier also, that I love human relationship stories. It is fun to tell stories when there are a lot of complexities involved. Such is life. I am extremely thankful to the audience for loving our show and for accepting it. It is really touching that they keep coming and watching the show again and again and increase our TRPs. God willing, we will try to make the show much better and bigger in the coming future. We have a lot of interesting elements that are coming ahead in the story.”
