Ekta Kaul the talented actress who has played the lead in shows Rab Se Sohna Isshq, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Mere Angne Mein etc is resuming work after a break of more than two years.
Ekta who is married to the popular actor and digital sensation Sumeet Vyas, embraced motherhood with the birth of son Ved in June 2020.
Now, Ekta has decided to keep her own baby steps and get back to acting. She is presently shooting for an episodic show, and will look at the pros and cons of being away from her son for long hours and will then decide on the future course of action with regards to her career.
Says Ekta, “I am not ready for long commitments as of now. Yes, I am shooting for an episodic show, as I want to test and see how it goes. So far so good!! But yes, I feel guilty about being away from my son for long. I have my mother taking care of him at home. I even got Ved to the set for few hours yesterday (smiles). I have certainly resumed shooting, but will decide on future commitments seeing how this stint goes.”
