FRIENDS is by far one of the most loved shows on television. The show was first screened in the mid-90s up until the mid-2000s. It was loved when it was first onscreen and was quick to develop a fan base of millions all over the world. In fact, most of us still watch the show on various platforms. The show was loved mainly due to its storyline, witty humor and a great cast.
Apart from this the show also played a great role in normalizing things that yet have a challenging debate going on. When Phoebe was asked to be the surrogate for Frank and his wife, there were many things and people who told her how bad it would be for her and how weird it would be, but she made the choice anyways as the couple’s happiness meant more to her. Next was when adoption was shown on the show effortlessly when Monica and Chandler were unable to have a baby of their own. The challenges they went through to get families to like them and the fact that they had to accept it taught us a lot. Last but not the least was when Rachel found out she was pregnant and when she told Monica and Phoebe they only told her how challenging it would be career-wise a d financially but she yet decided to keep it after realizing that not having the baby would make her feel worse.
