Anupamaa the Star Plus show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut has seen the issue of physical abuse by men on women being raised in a very interesting manner. We saw how Malvika (Aneri Vajani) struggled to face her dreadful past and how Anupamaa helped her get over her trauma. Now with Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly) about to leave Anuj’s house, Malvika will stop her with her protest. Also, Anuj will tell Anupamaa that he will never let that day come when she will go out of his house.
However, Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) will have a thought that will hurt him all the more. He will talk to Anupamaa about her handling Malvika well, but he will also tell her that she was also prey to physical abuse at the hands of her husband Vanraj. Anupamaa will tell Anuj that she has already taken care of it by confronting Vanraj. She will talk about the moment when she had told Vanraj about how he had ruined her own existence by never giving her the confidence to live her life, by curtailing her movements. Anupamaa will tell Anuj that she has told Vanraj that even though he did not use violence as a means to abuse her, Anupamaa has had enough of abuse from him.
Anuj will listen to this special moment of Anupamaa and will tell her that he is proud of her.
